Attorney General and incoming Republican governor Mike DeWine has announced more people he鈥檚 chosen to be members of his cabinet.
Major General John Harris is DeWine鈥檚 choice for of the Ohio Army National Guard, and DeWine鈥檚 first assistant AG Mary Mertz would be Director of the .
Others coming over from DeWine鈥檚 AG鈥檚 office are , who will lead the RecoveryOhio program he鈥檒l create to fight the opioid crisis, and Ervan Rodgers, as the state鈥檚 . His longest serving staff member Ann O鈥橠onnell will be his chief advisor, and transition team chief of staff Laurel Dawson will stay on in that position.
So far, all of DeWine鈥檚 announced appointees have been women and/or people of color.
